On the second day of your 10 Days Morocco Tour, you will set off on a very informative trip from Rabat to Fes. After exploring the famous landmarks in Rabat like the Hassan Tower, the Oudayas Kasbah and the old Medina, we will take the road to Volubilis, the most famous Roman post in Morocco with mansions, columns, buildings and mosaic that stand as evidence to the Roman Empire’s great outreach. Then we will stop in Meknes for a quick visit to the Mausoleum Moulay Ismail, Lhdim square and to see the gigantic gate “Bab Mansour”. Overnight in your riad in Fes.
On the third day of our Morocco private tour, after savoring your delicious breakfast, you will meet our experienced and multilingual local guide. You will be shown around the Medina to visit the surrounding historical monuments like the king’s Palace doors, the northern tower, the synagogue and the Jewish neighborhood which was home to an important population of Jews at a point of time. You will also make your way through the maze of the Medina with its countless and never ending narrow alleys, with our guide who will explain to you the history of the city and its huge importance for the Islamic word, as you will visit the first university in the world, the Qarawiyyin university, the Attarin Medersa and Souk, the Nejjarine Medersa and Souk, the Bouinania Quranic school and the Chouara tannery. From Fes, you will take the road to Erfoud after breakfast, passing by the serene and captivating Middle Atlas Mountains on the way visiting some cities like Ifrane, nicknamed “The Switzerland of Morocco” for its European styled buildings and cold weather. Next, we will pass by Azrou, the capital of the Berber community in the Middle Atlas and famous for its Cedar forests. Upon your arrival in Erfoud, you will have dinner and spend the fourth night of your 10 days morocco tour in a hotel in Erfoud.
On the morning of your fifth day of your 10 days morocco tour, you will rejoice your delicious breakfast before wandering in the Sahara desert and losing yourself to the charm of its golden dunes, kasbahs and the villages and to the magic of the wonderful nomads. There is more to the desert than just sand and camels, a civilization of great people was risen there and you will be offered an insight into the daily life of the Berber people in the Markets of Rissani and in Merzouga. You will have your dinner to the tunes of live Berber music and spend the fifth night of your 10 Days Morocco tour in a luxury desert camp under the shining stars.
On the sixth day of your 10 days morocco tour, after enjoying the breathtaking sunrise in the Sahara desert and having your breakfast, you will experience camel trekking before leaving the desert with our driver towards Dades Valley, passing by the captivating and immense Todgha valley and the city of Tinghir, famous for its good quality silver. Upon your arrival in the fascinating Dades valley, you will get to relax and enjoy the calm nature. Dinner & overnight at your hotel in Dades valley.
On the seventh day of your 10 days morocco tour, you will carry on your journey from Dades valley to the cinematic city of Ouarzazate, passing by the beautiful rose valley and Skoura on the way, stopping to peruse their beauty. Upon your arrival in Ouarzazate, you will visit the biggest studios in Africa, “Atlas Studios”, which were the set for some of cinema’s masterpieces like Gladiator, Kingdom of heaven and the hit tv show “Game of Thrones”. Dinner & overnight at your hotel in Ouarzazate.
On the eighth day with our 10 days morocco tour, you will take the road from Ouarzazate towards Marrakech, passing by the most famous Kasbah in the world on the way, Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, which is still well preserved and home to a large population of Berber people. After enjoying your lunch in the Berber town of Talouet, you will continue your trip to Marrakech through the High Atlas and the Tizi N’Tichka pass. Overnight at your hotel in Marrakech.
After your thrilling 8 days in Morocco, you will spend the ninth day of your tour in the most touristic city in Morocco, Marrakech where you will meet our local guide who will show you around the old Medina and guide you through the narrow streets, providing many pieces of information about the history of the city and its monuments like the Bahia palace, the Koutoubia mosque and the Menara gardens. You can spend the evening in the lively Jamaa El Fna square, where you can have a delicious local Tanjia dish for dinner before spending the ninth night of your 10 days morocco tour in your hotel in Marrakech.
On the last day of your trip, you will have some free time to relax in the morning. Our driver will take you to the airport in Marrakech or in Casablanca from which your plane will depart, bringing an end to what would be an unforgettable journey.
