Upon your arrival to the airport of Marrakesh, you will be met by our driver who will be holding a piece of paper with your name on it. After the meet and greet, our driver will show you a little bit around the Red city of Marrakesh before dropping off your luggage at the hotel and going out to enjoy your free time in the evening in the Jamaa El Fna square where you can watch the folkloric shows, the storytellers and enjoy the lively and busy atmosphere in this famous square. On the second day of your tour, you will begin your eventful Marrakesh program. You will enjoy the second day of your tour in the most touristic city in Morocco, Marrakesh where you will meet our local guide who will show around the old Medina and guide you through the narrow streets, providing many pieces of information about the history of the city and its monuments like the Bahia palace, the Koutoubia mosque and the Menara gardens. You can spend the evening in the lively Jamaa El Fna square, where you can have a delicious local Tanjia dish for dinner before spending the second night of your 13 days Morocco desert & ocean tour in your hotel in Marrakech.
On the third day of our 13 days Morocco desert & ocean tour, after enjoying your breakfast and resting for the morning, you will get back on the road with our driver, traveling from Marrakech to the musical city of Morocco, nicknamed “The wind of Africa”, Essaouira where great musicians visit for inspiration. It is famous for its gnawa music. You’ll spend the afternoon in Essaouira wandering around its beautiful streets and coast. Dinner and overnight in your hotel in Essaouira.
On the fourth day of our Morocco desert & ocean tour, you will discover the splendor of Essaouira when you visit the old fortified Medina and discover the Portuguese influence in the city which used to be a very important port for international commerce. You will rejoice browsing the art galleries and the handicrafts shops.
From “The Wind of Africa”, we will depart to “Hollywood of Africa”, Ouarzazate on the morning of your fifth day with our Morocco desert & ocean tour. On the way, you will visit the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou which is the most famous Kasbah in Morocco due to its big size and the fact that it is still fully inhabited and preserved much of its strength through the years. Upon your arrival in Ouarzazate, you will visit the biggest Studios in Africa, “Atlas Studios” where the making of several cinematic masterpieces took place like Kingdom of Heaven, Gladiator and the most famous Tv show “Game Of Throne”. Dinner and overnight in your hotel in Ouarzazate.
From “Hollywood of Morocco”, we will head into the heart of Sahara, passing through the gorgeous scenery of Dades Gorge and Valley and the splendor of Mother Nature in the captivating Toudgha valley. Upon your arrival in Merzouga, you will meet our camel man who will take you to your luxury desert camp on a unique experience with the sunset on the horizon. You’ll savor your traditional dinner with the sound and dances of the local folklore and spend the sixth night of your Casablanca Morocco tours in a luxurious bivouac tent under the beautiful and colorful stars.
On the seventh day of our Morocco desert & ocean tour, you will witness the beauty of the Sunrise in the desert dunes and enjoy your breakfast before going on a tour around the Sahara and explore the Berber villages and the Souks of Rissani, getting an insight into the daily of the nomads. You will enjoy your lunch in Alkhamliya village before continuing your tour by visiting some Kasbahs and monuments before returning to Merzouga where you’ll have dinner spend your night in a hotel.
On the eighth day of our Morocco desert & ocean tour, your journey upwards to the north will continue when our driver takes you from Merzouga towards Fes, passing by some beautiful cities on the road like Midelt, famous for its tasty apples and mineral richness, Azrou and its gorgeous Cedar wood buildings and Ifrane with all its splendor and natural beauty along with its European styled buildings that’ll show you a part of Morocco you never thought existed. Upon your arrival in Fes, you’ll have your dinner and spend the eighth night of your trip in a traditional riad.
On the ninth day of your Marrakesh, after savoring your delicious breakfast, you will meet our experienced and multilingual local guide. The most important sites which you’ll visit around the Medina are: Borj Nord, the Jewish neighborhood and synagogue and the king’s palace doors. You will also make your way through the maze of the Medina with its countless and never ending narrow alleys, with our guide who will explain to you the history of the city and its huge importance for the Islamic word, as you will visit the following monuments: the Qarawiyin university, the Attarin Medersa and Souk, the Nejjarin Medersa and Souk, the Bou Nania Quranic school and the Chouwara tannery. Dinner & overnight in your riad in Fes.
On the tenth day of our Morocco desert & ocean tour, we will visit the gorgeous town of Chefchaouen, the jewel of the Rif Mountains, where the Blue color dominates the scene and the beautiful mountains surround the city in a unique fashion. Our driver will pick you up from your hotel, early in the morning and take the road through the beautiful landscapes passing by the town of Ouazzane on the way until you arrive in Chefchaouen, where you’ll instantly fall in love with cozy atmosphere of the city and its welcoming people. You can make your way through the Medina lined with shops of handicrafts, herbs and traditional clothing before reaching the hilltop where the famous water source “Rass El Ma” is located, from where you can peruse the gorgeous view. At around 4-5pm in the afternoon you’ll take the road back to Fes. Dinner and overnight in your riad in Fes.
On the eleventh day of your Morocco desert & ocean tour, you will set off from Fes towards the capital, Rabat. On the way, you will pass by some historically valuable and very beautiful cities like Meknes, the Ismaili capital, where the biggest gate is located “Bab Mansour” and where you can visit the beautiful Mausoleum Moulay Ismail and the Old Medina (Lhdim). You will also visit the Roman ruins of Volubilis, a site where a whole Roman community lived once and all that remains are columns, pillars and ruins of mansion with some well-preserved mosaic which you can see in the museums. Upon your arrival in Rabat, you’ll have dinner and spend the night in a hotel in Rabat.
On the twelfth day of our Morocco desert & ocean tour, after enjoying your breakfast, we will visit the capital of Morocco in which we will explore the vital monuments of this city like the Hassan Tower, the Oudaya Kasbah, located by the coast and enjoy a walk in the beautiful Medina which was built on an orderly grid in the 17th century. From Rabat, we will head to Casablanca where you will visit the most important monuments of the city like the coastal corniche, the Habous Market & Quarter and most importantly the gorgeous Hassan II mosque that will blow you away with its ancient architecture and beautiful decorations. From Casablanca, we will head back to Marrakesh. Dinner and overnight in a hotel in Marrakesh.
On the last day of our Morocco desert & ocean tour, we will take you from your hotel in Marrakesh to the airport of Marrakesh or Casablanca where we will say goodbye and end what would be an incredible journey around our beautiful country covering the historical sites and the biggest cities along with the Sahara and the Middle Atlas mountains.
