After meeting you at your hotel in Marrakech after breakfast, our 4 days Marrakech Desert tour begins, we will drive towards the High Atlas mountains through the Tizi-n-Tichka pass, alongside a road that climbs from the plains up to 2260 m above sea level passing through small villages, small waterfalls and through the endlessly changing landscapes and amazing colors of these beautiful mountains. We can make a stop on the pass to taste a cup of mint tea while enjoying the view before taking the road to the Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, where we will arrive in time to take lunch. At this point we can take a walk to visit the famous Kasbah, declared a UNESCO World Heritage. We will carry on our journey by visiting the town of Ouarzazate, the Kasbah of Taourirt and the Atlas movie Studios along the largest and most famous studios of all Africa which were the setoff many well-known and globally acclaimed movies such as “Kingdom of Heaven”, “Troy”, “Lawrence of Arabia”, “Gladiator” and a long list of films and Tv shows. Then we will pass by Ouarzazate, the famous Valley of Roses and the gorgeous Dades valley. We’ll reach Dades Gorge in time for sunset, where you will stay in a very traditional and romantic luxury hotel for dinner and the night.
In the morning, after breakfast, our amazing 4 days Marrakech Desert tour carries on by an early refreshing walk along the beautiful Dades Gorge and the beautiful natural scenery surrounding it. After, we will drive our luxury car on the road of the 1000 Kasbas which will takes us through Tineghir village and the Jewish Kasbah. We will make it to the beautiful Todra Gorge in time for lunch then we’ll take a walk in the Gorge before taking the road to the Merzouga desert passing by Erfoud and Rissani and arriving before sunset. Merzouga is your gate to the desert. You will enjoy a tasty Saharan dinner before spending your night in a hotel in Merzouga.
On the third day of our tour and after savoring a delicious breakfast before going on a tour around the city of Merzouga. After lunch, in Marrakech to Fes Desert Tours, we will be going to ride camels on an amazing lifetime adventure in the golden and splendid sand dunes. We will spend the third night of our 4 days tour in a luxury desert camp, sleeping in a nomadic Berber tent in a luxury desert camp and enjoy an authentic feeling of the Saharan life while savoring the tune of Moroccan drum music in the middle of the Sahara desert and under the countless and shining stars. It would be a great chance for you also to take some lovely pictures of the sunset and sunrise.
On the last day of Marrakech to Fes Desert Tour, we will wake up early in the morning to enjoy the fascinating view of sunrise before riding camels back to Merzouga, where you can have a hot shower and a delicious meal for breakfast. After having some time to relax, we will get back on the road, heading to the Old Imperial City of Fes. We will make a stop in Midelt, the small town known for its rare kinds of rocks and fossils. We will have our lunch there then we’ll continue to Fes via the mountains and the charming landscape of the Middle Atlas. We will arrive to the legendary city of Fes in the late afternoon after a fabulous Marrakech Desert tour.
