Our Casablanca desert tours 6 days will cover many of Morocco’s aspects, by visiting the imperial cities before departing southward to the desert and the valleys and gorges of the Atlas Mountains.

You will be met by our driver at the airport, from where he will pick you up and drive to Fes. On your way from Casablanca, you’ll pass by some cities which we may stop to visit, depending on your time of arrival like Rabat which is like 1 hour from Casablanca where you can visit the Hassan Tower, which was built in the 12th centuries as the minaret of an unfinished mosque, the Oudaya Kasbahs with its lavish gardens and the old Medina. You might also visit Volubilis, which is one of Morocco’s best-preserved Roman ruins and UNESCO World Heritage Sites, where many monuments and old mosaic are in exhibition in the museum while you can still peruse the beauty of the pillars, columns and the remains of old mansions and houses. Meknes is also a possible stop on the way to Fes, famous for being the Ismaili capital and for several monuments like Mausoleum Moulay Ismail, “Bab Mansour” which the largest gate in Morocco and Lhdim square. Upon your arrival in Fes, you’ll have dinner and spend the first night of your 6 days Morocco Desert Tour in a riad/hotel in Fes.
Waking up to the hustle and bustle of the Medina, you’ll savor a delicious breakfast with our 6 days Morocco Desert Tour before meeting our professional and experienced local guide who will be your source of knowledge about the city, its history and its landmarks. The tour consists of 2 parts, the first is on a car to visit some monuments and famous attractions like the northern tower, locally called Borj Nord, one of 2 towers that protected the city, the synagogue and the Jewish neighborhood, where a huge Jewish community lived in peace and harmony. The second part is a walking tour in the 12 centuries old Medina, which is home to over 300000 people, surrounded by 12 gates, the most famous of them is Bab Boujloud or the blue gate. The most important monuments which you will visit in the Medina are the first university ever, Al Qarawiyyin University, the 7 centuries old architectural wonder, Bou-Nania Medersa, the Attarin Medersa, Chouara Tannery and the local shops and factories. Dinner and overnight of the second night of your 6 days Morocco Desert Tour in your riad/hotel in Fes.
On the third day of your 6 days Morocco Desert Tour, from the imperial city of Fes, you will take the road to the Sahara desert to explore a totally different side of Morocco’s diverse culture as you’ll notice the change in landscapes from the eventful alleys and the monumentally rich to the cold and European styled cities of the Middle Atlas and to the sandy world of the desert. As you depart from Fes, you’ll pass by Ifrane, “Switzerland of Morocco”, famous for its serenity and very cold and snowy weather, Azrou, Ifrane’s neighbor and the capital of the Berber community in the Middle Atlas where you will also check out the Cedar forests, inhabited by the playful Barbary Macaque monkeys. Upon your arrival in Merzouga, you will have the choice of either taking a 4WD or a camel trek to your luxury desert camp, located in the middle of the golden dunes of the Sahara desert. You’ll enjoy your dinner to the rhythm of folkloric drum music under the light of the stars before spending your night in a luxurious bivouac tent.
After spending a memorable night under the moonlight and in a nomadic style in the heart of the Sahara, you’ll wake up early in the morning of your fourth day of our 6 days Morocco Desert Tour to enjoy the view of sunrise in the desert and enjoying some free time before venturing further to the south, when you take the road to the breathtaking Dades valley. Before arriving in Dades valley, you’ll visit some Berber villages near Merzouga and some of the kasbahs as well. You will have lunch in Todgha where the huge cliffs of the Todgha valley create a magical scene that showcases the greatness and splendor of Mother Nature. Once you make it to Dades valley, you will have some free time to relax in this peaceful place. Dinner and overnight in a hotel in Dades valley.
After a goodnight’s sleep in Dades, you’ll have breakfast of the fifth day of your 6 days Morocco Desert Tour before taking the road through the continuously changing landscape of the south, passing through the dramatic Rose Valley and Skoura on your way to Ouarzazate, the cinematic city of Morocco’ nicknamed “Hollywood of Morocco” where the shooting of many movies took place in Atlas Studios, like the famous Ridley Scott’s masterpiece ‘Gladiator”, Orlando Bloom’s “Kingdom of Heaven” and the famous tv show “Game of Thrones”. Dinner and overnight stay in your hotel in Ouarzazate.
On the last day of your 6 days Morocco Desert Tour, you will take the road from Ouarzazate to the red city of Marrakech, Morocco’s most touristic city. Before arriving in Marrakech, you will visit the famous and Unesco protected Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou which is a very well-preserved red mudbrick Ksar that will take you back in time to the past. You’ll continue your journey to Marrakech on the Tizi N’Tichka pass which the least you can say about it is absolutely astonishing, with swingy curves around the hills and highlands of the High Atlas Mountains. Upon your arrival in Marrakech, our driver will drop you off at the airport/your hotel or at your preferred location, ending what would be an extraordinary adventure.
