On your way from Casablanca to Fes, you’ll pass by some cities which we may stop to visit, depending on your time of arrival like Rabat which is like 1 hour from Casablanca where you can visit the Hassan Tower, which was built in the 12th centuries as the minaret of an unfinished mosque, the Oudaya Kasbahs with its lavish gardens and the old Medina. You might also visit Volubilis, which is one of Morocco’s best-preserved Roman ruins and UNESCO World Heritage Sites, where many monuments and old mosaic are in exhibition in the museum while you can still peruse the beauty of the pillars, columns and the remains of old mansions and houses. Meknes is also a possible stop on the way to Fes, famous for being the Ismaili capital and for several monuments like Mausoleum Moulay Ismail, “Bab Mnasour” which the largest gate in Morocco and Lhdim square. Next, we will pass by Azrou, the capital of the Berber community in the Middle Atlas and famous for the surroundings of Cedar forests inhabited by the playful Barbary Macaque monkeys. On the fifth day of your 7 Days Desert Tour, you will leave from the heart of the Sahara to the splendor of Dades valley passing on the way by some gorgeous landscapes of nature. You will visit the magnificent Todgha valley where you can enjoy a walk between the very high sides of the valley and visit some surrounding villages where you will have lunch before continuing to Dades gorge and Valley where beauty dominates the scene and you’ll get to relax and enjoy the view. Dinner and overnight of the fifth night in a hotel in Dades.
On the sixth day of your 7 Days Desert Tour, you will carry on your journey from Dades valley to the Red city of Marrakech, passing by the beautiful rose valley and Skoura on the way, stopping to peruse their charm. On the way, you’ll visit the cinematic city of Ouarzazate, nicknamed “Hollywood of Morocco” where you will visit the biggest studios in Africa, “Atlas Studios”, which were the set for some of cinema’s masterpieces like Gladiator, Kingdom of heaven and the hit tv show “Game of Thrones”. You will also visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou which is one of the most beautiful and well preserved kasbahs in Morocco. Upon your arrival in Ouarzazate, you’ll have dinner and spend your night in a hotel in Ouarzazate.
On your seventh day with our 7 Days Desert Tour, you will take the road from “Hollywood of Morocco” towards the red city of Marrakech, passing by the most famous Kasbah in the world on the way, Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, which is still well preserved and home to a large population of Berber people. After enjoying your lunch in the Berber town of Telouet, you will continue your trip to Marrakech through the High Atlas and the Tizi N’Tichka pass. Upon your arrival in Marrakech, our driver will drop you off at the airport, at the hotel or at your preferred location bringing an end to what would be an incredible desert tour.
